Summer Sun

Summer is exquisite

Summer is as bright as the fireflies at night

All summer long, we relax and keep cool

Sitting near the water’s edge

Feeling the salty ocean

Eating Ice cream

Can’t stand the heat

But loving the sweet treat

Walking on the beach

Not admiring the heat

We go whale watching

And spy on majestic creatures

Taking a night time stroll

Hearing the peaceful sound of waves as they roll

Feeling the cool sand between my toes

Marveling at the seaweed that mimics the sparkling stars

Worry-free for the time being

We’ll tell you summer’s fun

And that’s all we’ll say.
