FAQ
When is drop-off and pick-up?
Residential students arrive Sunday 1-3pm, and depart Friday 1-3pm. Day students join us for our Opening Sunday welcome and BBQ 3:30-7pm. They attend Mon-Fri, 8:45am-5:30pm, but may stay as late as 8:30. Please confirm with the Director on a daily basis.
Can I bring my cell phone or laptop?
Students may not bring laptops. Girls may use the computer labs for Internet and email access. We have a strict cell-phone use policy. Students may bring cell phones but must turn them in at registration. They are kept safely in the program office. At designated times on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and on any trips, girls may use their phones to check-in. At any other time, 24-hours a day, parents can reach students by calling the office or campus security.
Will I have a roommate?
We have mix of single and double rooms. Generally, single rooms are reserved for older students and doubles for younger students. Roommates are paired by grade, and girls are grouped by age on the halls. Girls are welcome to room with a friend. And if you would like to request a single or double room, note this on your registration. We will do our best to honor your request.
How many students are in a class? What is the age range?
Class size is about 6-12 students. Girls in a range of ages may be in the same class; however, students are grouped by age when appropriate.
What sort of forms do I need to fill out? When are they due?
All health forms, enrollment contract, and payment must be submitted by June 1, 2011. All forms and useful information can be downloaded from our “FORMS” section.
What about medications or allergies?
Caring for the health and safety of our students is our top priority. It is essential that you fully disclose all critical health information and detail any allergies. Please return your health forms by June 1, so that we can properly prepare. All medication must be brought in original containers. It must be kept in the office, and is administered as scheduled.
